Tiffany Gleason LCSW is a Medical Social Worker at Cimarron Memorial Hospital. Tiffany will assist in social services, helping patients find resources when available and working to allow them to improve their quality of life while at the hospital, as well as outpatient clinical therapy services for the community. Tiffany believes mental health services should be talked about more often to reduce the stigma associated with them; and that they should be available and affordable to everyone.
Tiffany has been trained in multiple areas of clinical social work including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theories including Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), Selective Mutism, Depression, and Anxiety.
Tiffany holds a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University in Social Work with a minor in Psychology, and a master’s degree from the University of New England in Social Work with an emphasis on Individual, Family, and Group counseling. Following her education, she continued to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She hopes to someday go on to get her Ph.D. in Psychology.
Tiffany has worked in the Guardian Ad Litems office as a child advocate for abused and neglected children, as a case manager, and then as a therapist for a non-profit helping them expand therapeutic services to children and families that have experienced traumatic events, she has worked with children who suffer from a severe anxiety disorder known as selective mutism, and as a medical social worker doing home health and hospice work.
Tiffany grew up in a small town in rural Utah. She is the 3rd of 7 children. She is married to her best friend, and they have 6 beautiful children who keep her busy. She has found a new love of crafting, that stems from loving to make things alongside her dad. She loves to cook especially baking, and the memories it brings of cooking with her mom. Tiffany loves to travel and hopes to visit all 50 states before she turns 50. Her favorite pastime is anything she does with her husband and children, whether it is making caramel popcorn together, watching Marvel movies, or hanging out in the backyard.
